This series was very inspiring for me.
Getting to know Soraya and learning about her taste for music and fashion and her passion for her homeland's culture and traditions was really eye opening. For the first time my main focus was storytelling in my work not just pretty visuals or fashion editorial like photoshoot but what I'm trying to convey to my audience and what would be the story behind these photos and the person in frame. And to be honest it feels way different and much better working on this kind of project , to know this is sopouse to be more than a beautiful image despite the flaws and difficulties.
